She has excellent communication skills including professional writing and speaking abilities. Maria Nelson is a member of California Association of Community Managers (CACM), CAR, VCAR, SRAR, and holds a GRI and GRIII designation is Real-Estate. She is skilled in association litigation, and has more than twenty-three years or property management experience. She has gained a wide range of expertise from long management experience as well as years of contracting and consulting accountants, corporate and litigation lawyers. She is abreast of the latest changes to California law. Her company has a ninety percent tracking record for collecting bad debts. Her hands on approach and her fresh perspective to management and real-estate make her unique. Her experience, talent, integrity, commitment, honesty, and dedication are combined in order to produce a total affect greater than the sum of its parts. Maria Nelson has been involved in sales, marketing, and customer service since 1984 and prior to that, she was a junior high and high school teacher for fourteen years; she was teacher of the year and received several honors. She has made the statement many of times, “A good realtor is like a good teacher, one is constantly educating her clients to the areas and to the new products such as mortgage updates, insurance, and new laws affecting the industry just like a teacher educates her students to the subject studied”. Maria Nelson has invested in real-estate long before she ever acquired her license. She was buying, selling, and renovating properties since 1978. It was her love for real-estate that made her pursue this career. Maria Nelson has rebuilt several condos due to fire and earthquake damages. She has negotiated many settlements on behalf of the associations with insurance companies and has brought in millions of dollars for the Associations. Maria Nelson has been extremely instrumental in arranging attorneys, geologists, and all key players to set the tone for litigation work. Maria has answered all of the interrogatories and testified on behalf of the associations. She has been involved in developer defect work from 1987 to the present. She constantly attends seminar to be the best she can be in her business and is a strong believer of networking.
